This month, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone: Tera Zandler, Business Data Analyst with our IT department, is marking her 20-year anniversary with CRS!
Tera’s journey with CRS is one of growth, adaptability, and deep-rooted relationships.
From her first day in our downtown Phoenix office, to her current role helping drive data solutions across the organization, she has consistently exemplified what it means to grow with the company—both professionally and personally.
A Journey That Began with a View
“I remember showing up and looking out from the 7th floor with a beautiful view of downtown Phoenix,” Tera recalls. “I was greeted by the receptionist with a warm smile. The day was full of so much great information and knowledge. I left that day knowing I was going to love working for CRS.”
Since then, she’s worn many hats. Tera started her CRS journey as a Hotel CCS, transitioned into Hotel Billing, moved into the Accounting Manager role, and now thrives as a Business Data Analyst.
Each position brought unique opportunities, but the constant through them all has been her passion for learning and building relationships. “The most exciting part has been gaining knowledge in each area and getting to know my teammates along the way.” she shares.
Among her proudest accomplishments is her work integrating a hotel billing engine.
“I worked closely with our IT Department to provide the needed information to make the process more efficient.” Tera says. “It was a true team effort and one I’m proud to have been a part of.”
Wisdom from the Journey
Reflecting on her time in the accounting department, Tera highlights what made it special:
“What I enjoyed most was being able to work alongside team members that always had my back, understood me, and were willing to jump in wherever needed to get the job done together.”
When asked what’s remained consistent throughout two decades of change, Tera doesn’t hesitate: the relationships. “Over the years, I was able to build close relationships with my teammates on the Accounting Team. That connection has always been a foundation.”
As someone who’s seen CRS evolve and expand, Tera has words of wisdom for those just starting out: “Embrace every opportunity to learn, build strong relationships, and never stop striving for excellence. Time moves quickly, but the experiences and knowledge you gain along the way will be invaluable.”
Even after 20 years, Tera’s drive remains as strong as ever.
“Learning and growth never truly stop. There is still much more to accomplish, and with every new day comes the potential to make a meaningful impact.”
Outside of work, Tera embraces the outdoors and hands-on hobbies. “I have too many hobbies and not enough time,” she laughs. “I enjoy reading, crocheting, fishing, camping, and taking long trail rides on the Arizona back roads.”
A Culture That Aligns with Her Values
As she looks ahead to the next chapter in her CRS career, she’s focused on continuing to grow her knowledge base and build new relationships. She also credits the company culture and values as a driving force behind her long tenure.
“I feel that CRS’s values of High Performance, Accountability, and Innovation/Continuous Learning align with my own. I’m motivated by the drive to achieve meaningful, high-quality results while continuously learning and evolving.”
A Lasting Legacy
And if she could go back and give “Day One Tera” a piece of advice?
“Believe in yourself—you are more capable than you realize. Confidence isn’t about knowing everything right away—it’s about trusting your ability to learn, adapt, and rise to the occasion.”
