Northwest Windstorm Shelter & Outage Information

For those without power, shelters and warming centers in the Spokane, WA area are listed below. While power from the windstorm is being restored, there are many still without power.

Check in on your neighbors, and for any more info regarding the storm the Red Cross urges citizens to call 2-1-1.

EMERGENCY SHELTERS:

The Red Cross has opened a shelter today at 11:00am at 1404 N Ash St, in Spokane.

WARMING CENTERS:

Spokane Libraries are heated and open to the public. Power strips to charge devices are available, as well as computers.

East side branches open until 8 p.m.

Indian Trail open until 6 p.m.

American Red Cross shelter – Girls Scouts facility, 1404 N. Ash St., open 24 hours, will take all ages and pets.

Salvation Army Warming Center – 222 E. Indiana, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., will take all ages. Entrance on Nora at the back of gym. Look for Warming Center entrance sign. Power is out, but there are blankets available. To donate blankets or volunteer, call (509) 329-2721.

House of Charity – single adults only – open at 6:00 p.m., 32 W. Pacific.
