Our office is making moves to go green! This past Monday was the 43rd annual Earth Day and we decided why not make it last all week? Or better yet, why not make improvements that can help reduce our waste for years to come? Small changes can make a big difference and we are excited to do our part to reduce our carbon footprint.
Our new CRS reusable cups were passed out to all of our employees. An estimated 50 billion plastic water bottles were used last year and only 20% were recycled. Using one of these cups instead of buying bottled water can cut down on plastic water bottle waste and even save you money in the long run!
Don’t worry we’ve got lots of extras to pass out to our customers too!
In the CRS break room we’ve got recycling bins set up to make it easy for everyone to toss their recyclables in the right place!
CRS also participates in the Maricopa County Trip Reduction Program, the purpose of the program is to encourage using alternative modes of transportation to and from work such as carpooling, riding a bike or using public transportation. Each month employees that participate are entered in a drawing and can win covered parking spaces or gas gift cards
