Every month CRS donates funds to a cause we believe is doing wonderful things in their community. Donors Choose was brought to our attention by a CRS employee and we couldn’t be more excited to be apart of a charity that is really making a difference in the education at public schools across the US.
Donor’s Choose is an online charity where public school teachers post projects in their classrooms that need funding, whether that’s new books for reading program or new science lab equipment. Donors then get to choose a project that really inspires them. Once a project is funded the materials are shipped out to the school, you’ll even get a photo of the project in action! We were able to fully-fund two classroom projects right here in Arizona, both were requests for books to foster a love for learning and reading. We can’t wait to see the pictures of the books being put to use!
